Widget Image not showing for Google Drive images

Hi, my widget 3D card is not displaying the images properly. This widget is integrated to my Notion database which stores all the details needed to be displayed on the 3D Card including the image link. The image links are Google Drive urls. The urls are in editor access and can be shared to anyone. Please help me to resolve this issue and let me know what I need to do. Thanks in advance.

For context, if I upload my images to notion directly and use the notion urls to display the images in my 3D Card widget, it works. However, I don’t want to use notion urls as the links will expire. Therefore, I am trying to use Google Drive to upload my images and I am using the image urls from Google Drive. I have set the urls to allow for anyone and the link has editor access. Please help, thanks.

Hi @Kayden_Khan, You need to place the image inside a column of type “text”, and within it, insert the image link.

Hi, yes, the image link is pasted into the column of type text. And my widget is getting the link from the text column.

Or is it Google Drive links are not supported? Can you give examples or which hosting services that common ninja widgets support? I shall host my image and use the image link for my widget.

Yes, that’s a Google Drive preview link, not a direct image URL.
It opens a webpage, not just the image, so it won’t display properly in the widget.
You need a direct image link that loads only the image itself.
