My Job Listings Widget’s “Link” field does NOT work. Also adding the Email field does NOT work. This is a cool widget, but the instability in the widget on a live production site makes it a major issue with our client and something that we are now considering moving away from the widget

Hello Daniel, we understand that but the issue as you can see from the screenshot I took is that I have specified my URL as General 1 — foxinnovation.com but for some reason the link it retains is still the old squarespace internal link. Hope this helps to point what the exact issue is. Thanks

Can you share the updated link to your widget? The one in this thread is the default one.
I believe I found the issue. Although you defined a default value in the field settings, you rewrite it in each item’s data. See the attached screenshot.
What you can do is to remove the link from each item, then we’ll use the default value instead.
And you can also set it as a Global Value in the field’s setting to make sure all items have the same URL:
