The glossary is nice, but once you get tons of words in there it stretches out the page forever. Would be nice to do pages or even offer a dropdown filter to filter by letter without having to show them all expanded when first loading the page as well.
Thanks for the feedback @mdawg, we recently introduced a pagination feature for some of our widgets, we’ll add it to the Glossary widget as well and will let you know once done.
Good news @mdawg! The pagination feature will be available for the Glossary widget later on today
Awesome you guys work so fast! Much appreciated!
Great news! thanks! One more thing, just being picky now;) is there a way in the actual editor when adding terms to filter alphabetically and when adding a new phrase we can insert it above or below a current one? I know that when live, the words filter automatically when adding words, but for editing when words are all over the place, it’s hard to find one you want to edit or check to see if it’s a duplicate, etc. If once added even, maybe the editor will just automatically throw it in the correct placement alphabetically so we don’t have to manually drag them all over the place…if that makes sense?
and last thing…how come there’s the “free glossary widget” floating watermark if I’m on a paid plan?
Nope, it’s being removed automatically for premium customers in all plans.
ok good to know because I’m on the paid plan through the Duda widgets, yet mine is still showing up for some reason.
Also, attached you’ll notice the arrows are crooked on each side. Also, in your settings when you change the color typography of the arrows, the color doesn’t actually change. It’s the small things right;)
Thanks!

Ok here’s all of the issues I’ve noticed with the Pagination update that should hopefully help work out the bugs:
- When you try to change color of arrows they don’t change.
- Arrows aren’t even from next to back.
- If you’re on page 1 and search a term that starts with the letter D for example, it will work. If you’re on page 4 and search a word that starts with letter A for example, it will say there are no results.
I’ll let you know if I find more as I continue building this out.
Thanks!
And here’s another issue on mobile extending over the edge. There’s also the watermark issue on a paid plan.
See my comments below:
- Regarding the ads being showed on a paid plan. Please check again now, it should be fixed.
- Pagination arrow bug - a fix is on its way.
- Same goes for the responsive issue.
The pagination is great, but is there a way to hide all terms until searched? This would make the widget a cleaner experience for my use case!
