Option to hide email field & clickable footer link

Hi Commonninja community!:waving_hand:

I would love to suggest two improvements for the AI Chatbot widget:

  1. Optional email field in data collection
    It would be very useful if the email field could be made optional. Many businesses mainly capture leads via phone numbers, and requiring an email can be a barrier. Having the option to disable or hide it would make the form more flexible.

  2. Clickable footer link
    It would be great if the footer text could be clickable. For example, showing “Powered by [Company Name]” that links to a website in a new window. This would make the widget more customizable and professional for businesses.

Thanks for sharing these suggestions! We’ve added both to our AI Chatbot roadmap.

  • Email field: Until we add the option to make it optional, you can use a custom form without an email field.
