Good afternoon!
I have encountered one problem in the widget - can you tell me how to solve it or make changes?
I am filling the schedule of events and there will be a lot of them in a year. In Catalog Items the listing of event names is only displayed if the ‘Event Name’ block is placed immediately below the ‘Cover Image’ block.
However, by design necessity, I need the ‘Event Name’ block to be one position below it. Because of this, the names of events are no longer displayed in Catalog Items and the names from the intermediate block ‘Text’ are written there. As a result, it is very inconvenient to navigate through Catalog Items.
I have not found in the settings the possibility to bind names in the catalogue from the Event Name block. Could you please make an edit so that the names of events in Catalog Items would be bound strictly from the Event Name block?
Hey @TonyFly, just to make sure we understand, what’s currently happening is that we’re pulling the wrong value for the Event Name text? If true, can you share a link to your widget?
Yeah, I know, in the beginning it was.
But according to the rules of typography in the announcements we have ‘Premiere’ should be above the name of the event, not below it.
I accidentally upgraded my annual subscription plan to a more expensive one, but persuaded my boss to keep it. Now you just have to help me with my problem ))))))
Yes, of course.
It’s just that this widget is designed for maybe a hundred events a year, and it would be convenient to create new ones or edit already created ones if Name Events were displayed in the catalogue and not something else.
I have only 10 of them so far, and already I have to open each card to understand what kind of event I have in front of me. And I will need to make a hundred of them, and make changes throughout the year.
@TonyFly Got it. Another option for you - is to add a new custom field with a type of text, and make it hidden. Call it “Hidden Event Name” or any other name that suits, and since it’s hidden it won’t show up in the actual widget, but you’ll be able to name the events and easily browse between them
