Event listing not showing the event TIME

Hi there! I’m having trouble with the ā€œEvent Listingā€. it’s not showing the TIME of events, eventhough I’ve set to SHOW TIME in field> data> data range (I’ve chosen data range and everything is fine with that) > SHOW TIME. I don’t know how to fix this. I’ve tried to reload, log off/log in, turn on and off the SHOW TIME setting, reload… nothing works! The time is still not shown on the card.
Can anyone help?

Ok, so I guess I’ve figured it out that the ā€œRANGE DATEā€ mode doesn’t show the time. Which is a pity as even recurring events do have time to display.
How can I tell someone to visit and exhibition without showing the working times of the gallery?
My suggestion is that you create a separate field for the time. Thank you so much! Hope anyone can help me with that one.

Hey @agendamatinal , You can add the time to the date by enabling ā€œShow Timeā€ in the Date field.

Then choose the date and time.

If it still doesn’t work, please send me a link to the widget so I can take a closer look.

Hi, Kazem! the time is turned on, but still not showing.
Temporarily I’ve added a second date field, the simple date, and this one is showing the time. I’m alternating between the two until we can figure it out what’s happening (but this is making everything confuse in the order of the list).

Here’s the link: Agenda Matinal

Here’s a print of the first event of the list, with the time set and still not showing in the card.

The editori link might be this one here. Sorry, I’m new around here…

Thank you for sharing the link.

I’m forwarding it to our team for review and will update you.

Thank you, Kazem! Looking forward to hear from you :face_with_monocle:

Hi! Any news about this issue? it’s been really frustrating having to deal with my event list without the time or out of the order because of this bug. Hope you can help me figure this out as soon as possible. thank you!

The fix is on the way.
I’ll update you once it’s deployed.

The issue has been fixed

Hi Kazem! thank you very much! Indeed the time issue has been fixed! Now the time is showing! Ieii!

Buuuut, as we have different types of events, we’ve decided to use ā€œdate range" instead of only ā€œdate". and I guess we are still doing something wrong or the widget need a little fix.

The problem now is not the time, but the ā€œhide expired events". I’m guessing that the ā€œdate rangeā€ field doesnt have a rule for when the event does not have and ending date. Am I’m correct? As we are using the date range for all events, all events are still showing on the list.

I’ll delete them manually for now, but It would be great if you guyes could add this simple rule. I understand that a lot of people might get this kind of problem. Our cultural agenda has exhibitions that last longer (date range with opening times, i.e. from novembro to december, 12-6pm) but also have a music concert that lasts only one time (simple date with time nov 1st, 8pm).

Could you have a loot on that? That would be wonderful and would’t fully automatize the process. Thank you so much! My best!

PS.: I’ve also noted that when filtering using the date field, if I try to put only one day at the search it returns ā€œno event". I.e. I wrote: 1/11 to 1/11 and the result was no event. If Itry to put only the start date it also return no event. Could you also have a look on that? I think this is pretty basics for an event listing. Than you!

Hi,
I’m checking and will update you.

Hi,
Please check again.
I can see that both the range filtering is working correctly
and that events with past dates are not being displayed.

Hi, Kazem! thank you veru much for your help. But still not working.

There are past events, ie. events from nov 1st, that are still showing. See image below. The ā€œHide expired eventsā€ is on… it should work, but it is not. The events with start and end date are showing on the top, but after those comes the events with only one date.

Also, if I try to filter for only one day, let’s say today, nov 3rd, the result is ā€œno eventsā€, but we do have an event scheduler for today.

Hope you can re-check that for us! thank you!

Hi, are we talking about different widgets than the ones you sent me?
I don’t see the ones with past dates either.
Also, the filtering works — as you can see,
if you filter by a past date and the event doesn’t appear, that means it’s not active.

Please contact us at https://www.commoninja.com/contact-us
to send me a video of what you’re seeing.

Hi, Kazem! thank you for your patience and help!
It seems that the ā€œHide expired eventsā€ is now working. We’ve deleted manually a few of them, but not the ones from nov 3rd (yesterda) and ther’re not showing. So I guess it is working now! thank you!

But, there’s something misterious happening. I tried searching for the exact same date of your pic and it returned ā€œno eventsā€.

Any ideias on that matter?
thank you so much! my best!

Thanks for the update, what date range are you using?
From November 6 until when?

I tried using from 6 to 6, to see only the events from that day.
I’ve been doing some tests and I understood that if I use ā€œfrom 6 to 7 novā€ it show events from the 6 nov.
if i try ā€œfrom 7 to 8 novā€ it shows events from the 7 nov.
This seems a bit odd because it doesnt show events that are happening in one of the days that are being used to filter the information.
How can I search for events happening today or tomorrow, for example? Maybe a good addition to the widget would be filtering by today / tomorrow / on the weekend (or something like that).

I’m not experiencing what you’re describing.
When I select only the 6th, I see only the 6th.
And when I select from the 6th to the 7th, I see both dates.

Could you please send me a screenshot of the range for the 6th and 7th?
Maybe it’s a time zone issue.

Also, regarding your suggestion, it sounds good, I’ll pass it on to the team
